WHAT IS DOWNWARD SPIRAL?

Jesus asked us to put others' needs above our own, we want to reject our flesh and no longer conform to this world, but rather align ourselves with our Savior, Jesus Christ. This is a continuous quest, and in the flesh we fail daily. Jesus said "but many who are first will be last, and many who are last will be first." (Matthew 19:30) This is our downward spiral - a continuous journey to be more like Christ by becoming the least.
