2 Corinthians 8:13-15
For I do not mean that others should be eased and you burdened; but by an equality, that now at this time your abundance may supply their lack, that their abundance also may supply your lack—that there may be equality. Luke 12:33

Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.

Luke 12:15
Then he said to them, "Watch out! Be on your guard against all kinds of greed; a man's life does not consist in the abundance of his possessions."


Why voluntary redistribution? Because God the Father, the Almighty Maker of Heaven and Earth has asked us to.
